In the city where the very first Primark in Northern Europe was opened in 2008 (Rotterdam Alexandrium), our AKOR-Vastbouw team has now built another Primark: this shop on Coolsingel is the 3rd Primark in Rotterdam and the 2nd flagship store in the Netherlands!
From a shell building, it was completed to a 7,500 m2 shop with 68 fitting rooms and 58 cash registers. Logistically, it was also complicated, as it all had to happen right in the centre of Rotterdam.
This mega shop has typical Rotterdam characteristics, such as the yellow of the logo of the port of Rotterdam in the lifts and on the walls of the fitting rooms. There are also light boxes with images of Rotterdam. The elements that refer to the city were made especially for this shop.
