The owner of the Kloosterhof apartment complex in Almelo, woningcorporatie Beter Wonen, decided to preserve a portion of the apartment facility. To increase the size of the new apartments in Het Woonkwadrant, the number of apartments was reduced.
Renovation
The objectives:
- Adjust to conform to modern standards with new construction quality standards.
- Upgrade the exterior to create a modern complex which fits within the new urban development context.
The result was a bold and urban character.
