De Galerij in Almelo was redeveloped into a residential project in 2016, together with Woningbouwcorporatie Beter Wonen. 30 apartments have now been constructed in the former V&D building, under the name ´Het Warenhuis´.
Unprofitable retail and commercial space has been traded in for a lively residential complex, breathing new life into the city centre. The building now features a completely renovated modern façade.
